Tangan Terikat Di Langit, Kaki Terpasak Di Bumi

Assalamualaikum wbt

Amin!

Mac.

Asyik hang aja Mac ku ini. On average hang setiap 15 minit dan terpaksa restart at least 3 kali sehari. How’s that for a student who relies a lot on her Mac. Huhu. Innalillah. Nak beli baru, em tidak kot. Tablet PC free dari RCSI is on the way. InsyaAllah, aku bertahan satu semester lagi!

Rumah.

Dekat dengan Lost World Tambun, 15 minutes from Ipoh City. Sedihlah nak pindah rumah, 20 tahun aku membesar di rumah sekarang, sekolah agama, sekolah menengah di situ, nanti sedap ke rojak dengan air soya kat rumah baru ni agaknya.  Dan disebabkan pindah, nampaknya usaha selama 10 tahun permohonan penambahan ahli keluarga baru iaitu kucing, ataupun kucing-kucing, makin menampakkan jalan cerah. Hooray!

Hermitage Rotation.

Seronok sangat alhamdulillah. Perhaps, the best so far. In 5 days, I got to watch 7 surgery (in one day), observe 3 Neurologist consultation, went to ICU, Lab, watch X Ray CT MRI and PET Scan procedure, (mind you there are only 2 PET Scan in whole Ireland) hehe. And my first experience helping a surgery was during Laparascopic Cholecystectomy. Even the whole journey every day was 2 buses and 30 minutes walking, but I enjoyed it so much.

Dan paling kelakar, for this specific rotation, rasa macam Grays Anatomy. Sebab advisor tu, Dr Collin Taylor, gaya dia sebijik macam Dr Bally, jawatan pun sama, Chief Resident yang angkut satu team training doctors merata-rata.

Overall, I am satisfied and happy with this exposure rotations. After 4 weeks, I think I appreciated a lot of clinical signs, how murmurs varies so much, how consolidation changes all the vocal fremitus bla bla, and so on so forth. And altogether 29 patients history taken, alhamdulillah.

Dan aku terbuat seorang patient sedih dan menitik air mata, sebab salah guna perkataan. Instead of saying, “3 pregnancies and 1 miscarriage is it?”, I said, “3 pregancies and 1 abortion is it?”. Aiyak. Terlupa pulak, kalau di Malaysia keguguran tu can mean any of those, tapi di sini specific abortion intentionally and miscarriage, accidental. It is a routine question for a patient like her, somehow I need to ask. Cuma bila perasan muka dia dah lain, aku pun jadi gelabah. Alhamdulillah, patient tu kata, “It’s okay not your fault, just thinking of my baby after 20 years haven’t thought of it.”. Huhu.

[As Sajdah:15]

[As Sajdah:16]

Wallahu’alam

I am really afraid of doing the same thing…. As you know, i always run through everything very quickly that I would be less sensitive to this kind of thing…

I believe and hope that people here understand that English is not our first language. English is even my third language. Our diction is very very different. Hopefully they can accept this…

Your rotation sounds exciting and amazing.. Can’t wait to start mine… My brain is a bit rusty… Have to do something to bring it back to life….

Hehe. Rotation is great, except for Cappagh. But believe me, out of everything else, you should focus your best in Cappagh, sebab lepas ni takda proper Ortho teachings dah until grad.

The most exciting as everyone says is the one week private attachment! Best gila masya Allah. hehehe

    All the best!!
